This 3 wheeler has a long history in Europe and Asia as durable and reliable passenger and delivery vehicle. With high torque 4 stroke engines, this machine has the low operating costs of a scooter with the toughness of a truck. With a top speed of 40 MPH, it obviously is not intended for freeway use, but are ideally suited to local short-haul transportation and delivery.

The Bajaj 3 wheelers are now being tested to comply with EPA and CARB emissions standards. Also, extensive work is being done to improve ergonomics and to comply with DOT standards. US versions are expected to be available early 2002.
