Spring is almost here and for many of us that means breaking the bike out of winter storage.
Did you know that a weak battery is the #1 cause for a no-start condition this time of year? Batteries naturally discharge at an average rate of 1/10 of 1% per day. Add to this the normal draw from digital dashes and ECU memories, and you have a recipe for low battery voltage. A battery which is below 12 volts is too weak to support starting system demands on most modern motorcycles. Most battery problems can be avoided during long-term storage by removing the battery from the bike and storing it on a trickle-type charger, such as a Battery Mate battery tender.
So don't get stuck at home on a sunny day while your friends are out riding. Bring your battery in to us for a free load and voltage test. You'll be ready to ride in no time!
